Design Concept
Typically, pulling a string simply turns a light on or off instantly. In this project, I proposed a two-sided light that can shine upwards or downwards, providing directional lighting for reading or atmosphere. Rather than an on/off switch, pulling the string controls the lighting direction continuously between up and down.
