The Hotdog Machine is speculative design project that explores the potential of facing social media algorithms with a equally strong intelligent system. Armed with a hotdog, the 6dof robot arm observes your screen and make subsequent actions. This machine can either completely rewire you feed by hacking the algorithm, feed you content that it want you to see, help you battle your phone addiction, or simply like your friends' posts for you. Would this be a world we have more agency over our phone addiction? Or will we loss more control with more technology?
