2 Player Interactive Game

Game Design/Interaction Design

Don't handle alone is a 2 player interactive game. As a team, you are present with two objects with 5 buttons and 5 pixels. Your goal is to match the pixel colors with each other. As level goes on, how the lights react to the button becomes more and more unpredictable.

The design investigates the minimal interfaces required to build an immersive experience. With minimal communication, color and intensightly changes of the lighting, players are able to understand the game and work together to solve it while enjoying the process. This creates an interesting contrast between this and our daily high resolution devices.

Form Factor

The design features a hexagon shape that suggests a form of explosives, with the side panels blinking and acting as a timer and level indicator. the two sided pixels allows the other player to easily see the goal, while remaining a smooth interaction between the two players.
